If you don’t wish to renew your policy with us, please make sure auto renew is switched off and we will do the rest. Any proof of No Claims earned will be held within the document section of your dashboard.
Your first monthly fee will be taken off your provided payment card on your renewal date. Your new price per mile will take effect for all miles driven from your renewal date.
The JURNYmeter does not need to be removed when your policy ends. It will be switched off remotely free of charge and if you wish, can be self-removed once the policy has ended.
However, you can opt to pay a professional to remove the JURNYmeter at a cost of £50.00

We send or install your JURNYmeter, a small device that securely measures your mileage so that we can charge you accurately. There’s no driver score, no interventions, and no curfew! You are also quoted a small monthly fee that covers you while you’re parked. These are used to calculate your estimated annual cost:
Annual Estimated Cost = (Monthly Fee x 12) + (Price-Per-Mile x Annual Estimated Mileage)

JURNY could save you money because you are in control of your insurance costs. With your personal rate-per-mile you know how much each journey will cost you. What’s more, we’ll never charge you for more than 100 miles per day and with your small monthly fee, you’re also always covered while you’re parked.
There is also no need to pay in advance or pay a premium for your car insurance. JURNY allows you to pay for your car insurance as you use it so that you won’t be paying now for something you’ll only use months later, whether through one upfront payment or paying a premium with a monthly payment.

Your insurer will not track where you drive. This information is there for your personal use and it could also help to track your car if it is lost or stolen.

At the start of your policy you will pay £25.00 into your pre-pay account.
Your account will automatically top-up when your balance falls below £10.00 but you can change the parameters of Auto or manual top-up at anytime through your JURNY dashboard.
There is no need to pay annually in advance or monthly with interest for your car insurance. JURNY lets you pay for your car insurance as you use it. That means you won’t be paying now for something you’ll only use months later, or get charged interest on monthly payments.

This won’t affect your no claims discount as long as the work is done by their approved and replacement service.

If you change your car, you can move your existing self-install JURNYmeter into your new car. Unless you need a new Self-Install device because yours is damaged or lost.

If you need to make a claim and any of the details are in dispute, then your JURNYmeter may help your insurer work out what has happened in the event of an accident.
You need to make sure all your details are correct and up to date. If anything has changed from your renewal date onwards, you can run a quote to see whether this changes your renewal offer. If you’re still happy, you can accept and renew.
You can use your JURNY dashboard to change your top-up settings for either manual or auto top-ups. Simply click ‘Auto top-up settings or Manual top-up settings’ and amend to your preferences.
If you wish to renew your policy with us, please make sure auto renew is switched on and we will do the rest. Alternatively, you can keep your auto settings off and manually accept your offer. You will receive confirmation of your successful renewal.
You’ll continue to build up your No Claims Discount with us, as you would any other insurer. Proof of No Claims Discount will be sent to you after your policy has ended. For full details you can see the relevant section in the Policy Booklet.
After you have purchased your policy, your documents will be available to view and download within your JURNY dashboard.
There are no upfront costs or deposits, just a continuous 12-month contract at your quoted monthly fee and price per mile. There will only be an upfront cost if you change your vehicle at renewal. This will be quoted to you when making the change and will be taken at the same time as your first monthly fee.
We can cancel your policy by giving you seven days’ notice in writing, either by post or in an email. If there’s evidence of fraud, we won’t give you a refund and might treat your policy as if it never existed.
The reasons we might cancel your policy are listed below.
- If you give us information that’s wrong or incomplete.
- If you don’t pay your premium when it’s due.
- If you commit fraud by giving us wrong information on purpose.
- If you don’t give us important documents or information we’ve asked for.
- If you don’t keep your car in a safe and roadworthy condition.
- If you use threatening or abusive behaviour towards a member of our staff.
- If you don’t let us install your JURNYmeter in the agreed time, or the engineer can’t install it.
- If the vehicle isn’t as you described it.
You can drive before your JURNYmeter is installed, we’ll assume you drive 50 miles each day until it’s fitted.
We will contact you to make and confirm your installation appointment within the first 7 days of your policy.

There is no curfew. You can drive your car whenever you prefer and this will not affect your policy.
Auto renew means that your insurance policy is automatically renewed at the end of your 12-month contract. You have the option to turn this on or off at any point during your policy. For those who still want their auto renew preferences off but wish to renew, you will see a button in which you can manually accept the renewal before the renewal date.

If your car is being repaired by one of our approved repairers, you’ll be given another one to use while you wait.
You’ll still be covered by this policy while you’re driving a courtesy car.
However, there are some circumstances in which you wouldn’t receive a courtesy car including if your car is stolen or can’t be repaired.

JURNY is flexible in that you only pay for the miles you drive as you drive them, as well as a small monthly fee.
We do, however, not provide temporary cover, but there are many other insurers that do. We suggest doing your own research to find the best policy for you as we cannot make any recommendations.
There is currently no JURNY App to download but you will be informed as soon as our App launches. However, accessing your JURNY Dashboard is easy and simple through any web browser on a mobile, tablet or desktop.
You will need to call us to renew your policy as it doesn’t automatically renew.
We’ll contact you with a renewal quote at least two weeks before your cover runs out.
Any existing credit balance you have on your account will roll over to next year, so you won’t lose what you’ve paid so far. If your account falls into a negative balance within 14 days of your renewal date, don’t worry you can still renew with us.
